PI has picked up the count. We are 15 minutes away from a possible launch of the INCAA rockets. Rocket 2 will be 3 minutes after the first.

No hold we will be launching the rockets.

After waiting 2 wks Poker Flat RR launched the INCAA rockets! Here & at other sites researchers photograph bright streaks crossing the sky. Compiling photos from all sites by lining up the stars, they can learn more about the aurora & atmospheric physics. nasa.gov/feature/goddar…

IARC, @EPAresearch, USGS National Uncrewed Systems Office (NUSO), U.S. Coast Guard, & BSSE came together at Poker Flat RR this week to integrate drones and remote sensing data into oil spill response decision making. Four drones in the air at once? No problem.

Free Summer Walking Tours are back. Our next one will be May 18th. Gate opens at 1:30 tour starts about 2.

We will be looking to launch two rockets between November 5th and 20th. For the nights of the 5,6 and 7 the times that a launch may occur will be between 7pm and 1am local time each night. from the 8th to the 20th the time shifts to 11pm to 5am local time.
