I asked Nikki Haley what's biggest challenge in running against Donald Trump. "All the lies." First step is sorting through that. Haley has increasingly refuted Trump claims & ads (re: immigration, social security, etc.) since two person race #NewHampshirePrimary.

One of the funnier moments of Haley's speech was when she referenced all the people in this room, then ad libbed, and the overflow room, prompting an external roar.

Little focus on gender at #NewHampshirePrimary though Nikki Haley stump & inspiration for running premised on being married to a combat vet who returned w/PTSD. What to make of this (good & bad) & whether being a woman helps or hurts her against Trump are relevant questions.

The Dem #NewHampshirePrimary is odd & disjointed. No clarity on whether dropping IW/NH is just a Biden thing or more = big ? facing Dems on Nov 6. SC more racially representative, but less so ideologically. How important is retail politics in vetting process open question.

Mitt Romney: “I think the border is a very important issue for Donald Trump. And the fact that he would communicate to Republican senators and congresspeople that he doesn't want us to solve the border problem because he wants to blame Biden for it is is really appalling."

Luke Perry (@polscilukeperry) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I understand the larger electoral dynamics & that winner-take-all contests are forthcoming, but odd to me that Nikki Haley trailing 32 to 17 in search of 1,215 delegates is noticeably missing from post-NH national narratives of her getting crushed & the campaign being over.

Rep. Williams won Oneida County 63% to 38% in 2022. He is currently up 51% to 44% (per NY BOE) w/93 of 115 districts reporting. This difference is a major reason for Sen. Mannion's current 11 point lead early on. #NY22

Rep. Williams up unofficially 52%-43% (+5k votes) in Oneida County w/all districts reporting. Much less than 2022 when he was elected & won Oneida 62%-38% (+18k votes). The county is playing an important swing role in the reconfigured #NY22 that is now Syracuse-centered.
