Ms. Davis' second graders are learning about weathering and erosion. They investigated if water is strong enough to make a canyon. They did this by making their own landforms, then adding a rainstorm to observe what happens to the land when the water comes in contact with it.

We're ready for the U.S. Marines MCM Kids Run this Saturday! Bus transportation will leave the school at 9:00. Mr. Suarez will have the t-shirts and bibs at 8:15 at the main entrance of Polk. If you are driving meet at the event at 9:30. Our Purple Wave race begins at 10:40.
