The championship semis are in the books and the Mike Joyce wrestling team has sewed up the state title at the RIIL Championships. PHS has 211.5 points and 8 wrestlers who will be in their weight class finals at 5 p.m. Hope is 2nd with 125 points and 3 wrestlers in the finals.

Here is your state champion Mike Joyce wrestling team. Five individual state champs, school record 251 points, and sights set on doing damage at next weekend's New England championship meet on their radar.

Keep an eye on the Mike Joyce wrestling team in its pursuit of the New England title at the PCTA. They enter today in first place by 16 points over CT's Xavier, and all nine of their wrestlers are competing in the quarterfinals. No other team has more than four in that round.
