Good news! Tas & I have finally the keys to our new house, after a few months of patiently waiting, we are now owners of a 60’s doer-upper project house to make into a home - with some bold old skool carpets! We’ve plans to transform it gradually, just happy to have the keys. 🏠

As well as getting keys to the house, I’m also Supercar Fest this weekend! Today has been a great day at the event, if you’re visiting tomorrow, do come say hi! Here are some highlights from today! The paddock lineup and displays are pretty epic too. Come say hi, tomorrow.

It was that time Supercar Fest … #PopbangGONE! BIG thanks to all who popped over to say hi, commissioned their vehicles & bought POPBANGCOLOUR merch - it was a lovely weekend of supercars & lovely people who came in them Sywell Aerodrome Now to strip wallpaper off the wall…

So Tas has had a busy day stripping… all of the wallpaper. Think there are about 4 layers in places in the living room 🤯

Day 4 of #pophousecolour house renovation, the parents & in-laws are absolutely on it today with their excellent team work! The 1960’s glass partisan wall has been removed from the kitchen / dining room opening up the space immediately. So, anyone need a piece of 60’s house?

Wow, well that progressed nicely today! Taking the house back to its bones but keeping some features too, HUGE thank you to my parents & in-laws for the all-hands-on-deck effort. It’s amazing how much has been done in a couple of days. We’re absolutely keeping the doorbell! 🔔

The 60’s era continues to be removed from #pophousecolour home Also anyone interested in an authentic gas fire? Net curtains are binned, the compost bin is a spiky thing & the gas oven has a latch. Any recommendations on kitchen fitting companies is appreciated - lots to do!

We’ve found some carpet under carpet of the #pophousecolour that I think would work perfectly with the #Shoveit Chevette build - what do you think? The pattern & colour could work with it really well! Just needs a reeeeeally good clean. 🤔 #Housetohome #houserenovation

Right then you lovely lot. The #pophousecolour needs a new kitchen, as soon as possible! We’ll also need an electrician to rewire the house, for when we have found a kitchen - as they’ll need to know where the plugs need to go! Any recommended companies or suppliers?

Big thanks to those who’ve reached out with kitchen company suggestions, here’s a little walk through of the house & some ideas we have for the area. We’re just going through electrician quotes & have a number of kitchen company meetings & visits planned. Let Tas chat about it

If you wondered why the #Shoveit is parked for a while, here’s how our shower electrics look. Yes that’s a cooker on / off switch which has been self engineered & wired into the airing cupboard. Even the plug looks shocked by it all! 😮 60’s houses, full of surprises.
