This years Poppies to Paddington event is on the 10th of November There are sadly no trains in Cornwall due to improvement works. However, The The Veterans Charity have a special, VERY special Rail Replacement service planned East Midlands Railway (EMR) are also supporting the Routes of Remembrance 🚄🌸🚢🌸✈️🌸🚁🌸

The The Veterans Charity are proud to announce that Helston Community Hospital is an official drop off point for wreaths for Poppies To Paddington 🌸🚆🌸 Paddington 2023. Please drop off outside of Hospital meal times and before the 5th of November please to ensure they travel to Plymouth in style.

A reminder there are no Poppies to Paddington trains running on the 10th of November in Cornwall. There is a replacement bus on the 9th see below. Or a replacement helicopter on the 6th to get wreaths to Plymouth. Wreaths can be dropped off to Helston Hospital by the 5th.

One of the GWR IET trains carries both Michael Bond CBEs name and that of his most famous creation Paddington Bear. He was a a fan of the railways living near the station in Reading amd would watch the Cornish Riveria service pass by. #TYFYS
