When it takes Port City Music Hall closing down forever to realize that that venue was the centerpiece of everything for a lot of us who've played music in Maine these 10 years. Big shows for us. Milestone moments for us. Thank you PCMH staff/owners/bookers. 💔

My bands last gig in march before the covid shutdowns was in Maine at Port City Music Hall with Against Me!. So sad that today they announce they are closing. Please let’s do what we can to try and keep our venues intact.

as an agent, Port City Music Hall was reliable, an anchor, the solution in the 500-750 cap range. I like my markets well-stocked with A+++ venues. there is now a gap in Portland ME, a missing step on the ladder. gratitude for those employees who helped my artists along the way. 💔

.Port City Music Hall gave budding & established performers a platform to reach countless audiences. I interviewed Susan Rice there only a few months ago. We can’t let this economic downturn rob Maine of another venue. We must pass #SaveourStages & the Encores Act now.
