At #CRPD event coorg by 🇮🇹 🇵🇹 & UNESCO on empowering Persons with Disabilities through arts, Portugal shared concrete natl experiences for real inclusion in the artistic field, such as the Art Without Limits Initiative, & projects such as "Dançando com a Diferença" and "Vo’Arte".

Yesterday Portugal cosponsored and voted in favor of a #UNGA Humanitarian Resolution demanding an immediate & permanent ceasefire in #Gaza, access of humanitarian aid & immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to international law.

Portugal thanks all delegations and esp. co-facilitators (Mexico, Nepal, Norway & Zambia) for tireless commitment to #FfD4 process. Multilateralism is a choice, and your engagement makes it count. On road to Sevilla, we know the greatest achievements come from shared progress.

Portugal is proud to have Co-Chaired with Burundi the Preparatory Committee of #FfD4, which concluded yesterday with the approval of the recommendation to adopt FfD4 Outcome Document in Sevilla. We thank all delegations, esp. Bureau, Co-Facs and UN Secretariat for the support.

At the #UNSC, 🇵🇹 stressed that peace and development are inseparable, warning that poverty, exclusion & environmental degradation fuel conflicts. 🇵🇹 commits to conflict prevention, local empowerment, partnerships & climate security. Peace must be built guaranteeing human dignity.
