Kailean Khongsai is training for ordination to the priesthood in the Church of England, and is from Manipur. I join him in praying regional authorities would protect all minority groups, including Christians and their places of worship, and that justice and peace would prevail.

Praying for an end to the attacks on Christians and their churches in Manipur; for justice for the perpetrators; and for UK government to make strong representation about freedom of religion in India.

In a time of horrific violence across the globe, may we also remember the Kuki-Zo Christians in Manipur, India, who have been under attack since May. Over 140 people have died and thousands more are displaced as hundreds of homes and churches have been destroyed.
