We can vet people so much but in the end they will do what they want. When we interview people to foster we STRESS that it has to be until the dog is adopted. We tell them there is no alternative place for the dog. We explain to them that every dog appeals to someone but not

We are indebted to an amazing foster that saw these two dogs to adoption today. KJ and Tiger were owner surrenders last May. The owners left glowing notes and that Tiger and KJ were given to her. Whatever the situation was, these two young dogs were ready to lose their lives.

We love getting updates and comparing the before's and after's. The change in a dog's life is what we live for. Charmander was surrendered to the New York Animal Care Centers back in early April. The reason? Pregnancy. The woman was pregnant and now had no time for him.
