Let’s be honest. Suhel Seth is a sexual harasser. A shame on how shoddy our infrastructure is; a shame on the jokers who govern the place and a shame on the priorities of the Government. So the next time he yaps grandly on social media, look that MeToo accused scum in the eye!

Any suggestions for insulated coffee mugs that carry between 300ml and 500ml drinks and keep them hot/cold for 4 hours or longer? NOT looking for flasks or bottles. Used this earlier and it did all that but the lid stopped locking within months and became useless! (Pic not mine)

Watching my very first Marilyn Monroe film from 1959 with my woke 2025 eyes is messy because her blonde bimbo character, charming & alluring as it is, is so crafted for the (voyeuristic) male gaze. But the film itself addresses men's mistreatment of women too? Outrageous & funny!

13 is when I really started to question all the (empty) rituals I had been blindly following since my childhood. But 16 is when I fully rejected the very idea of a god as laughable and with it, the religion I was born into as well. Told my parents and never looked back since.

Ever so rarely does a voice really make you stop in your tracks and take notice. An unfamiliar voice that suddenly holds the power to make you smile, blush & tear up. Raghav Chaitanya's voice did that to me. He's Metro In Dino's most potent charm as well as its biggest takeaway!

The reels finally made me watch Do Kaliyaan ('68) & the sheer amount of mythological references are insane! The plot itself is Ramayana-lite with a Ram-like exiled hero, Manthara-ish MIL, sorta Hanuman, a Menaka, twins reuniting estranged parents! And baby Neetu Kapoor is just 🫶🏻

As much as I love Shreya, her version of Qayde Se has just not been working for me. She must've been briefed this way but that very uneasy mix of semi-classical ornamentation and more westernised singing just doesn't sound cohesive to my ears. I skip it nearly every time. 😞

Papon's serene 'Mood Shift' version of Mausam keeps making me break into a smile each time I listen to it. And it gives me major Hoshwalon Ko Khabar Kya whiplash because Papon sounds so much like a young Jagjit Singh here. Like he's singing with a guitar in hand by a campfire 🥺

Thinking about that thread in Metro In Dino where a character tries to figure out their sexuality, and how much tenderness, maturity & matter-of-fact-ness it was handled with. Made me wonder AGAIN why an Imtiaz or Mani Ratnam keep making romances, but never one that's 'different'
