We ended #NicuAwarenessMonth and celebrated #NicuAwarenessDay by revealing the launch of our newest support group, the Preemie Connect Angel Babies Support Group #PreemieConnect

A1 – It means that every pre-term baby born should have access to the best health care whether they are born in LMIC’s or first World Countries. Equipment and specialized staff should readily be available and easily accessible. #WPD24Chat #PreemieConnect

A2 – There are amazing tools that have been developed that can be adapted to suite eachcountries unique needs. There should never be the excuse as to why babies born too small and too sick are not able to survive and thrive #WPD2024 #WPD24Chat #PreemieConnect

A3 – They need to be supported better, physically, financially and especially emotionally. Many times in the #NICU the staff take on many different roles without receiving support themselves. #WPD24CHAT #PreemieConnect #WPD24chat

A5 – For the first time #PreemieConnect is hosting an event for our support group families. These are the families who are directly affected and receive services from our Organisation. We look forward to meeting everyone in person. #WPD24Chat #WorldPrematurityDay2024
