We had our first Mad Science session today and we learnt all about light being transferred by using prisms, filter paper and ultraviolet lights.

Year 6 were lucky enough to be visited by a magistrate who told them about her job and the criminal justice system.

In Mad Science club the children have been experimenting with magnets.

Year 6 pupils competed for a place in the final today of a mock Magistrate trial at Tameside Magistrate Court in Ashton. The pupils played their roles perfectly and experienced the inside of a court room as well as speaking to magistrates about their duties.

In Mad Science today we learnt about the importance of food groups and calories.

The Wellbeing Warriors came together today for the first time this year to explore the concept of “new beginnings”. The children worked on creating some poetry relating to this theme. St Chrysostoms CE School of the Resurrection

6B visited Longsight Library this morning to borrow some reading for pleasure books for the holidays.
