This has been an amazing experience. Districts should take advantage of this free opportunity to support new leaders and check out what other supports there are for leaders that aren’t in their first year. We are stronger together. 💪🏼

For 27 years I watched these types of magical moments happen all around me because of the talented staff I worked with and the amazing kids that attended the #sd113a schools. This is such a good reminder to stop and take notice. #BlessedPrincipal #FindTheJoy

Does your school have a communication system in place so MTSS teams can identify students experiencing difficulty and initiate timely supports? Educators can use this resource from The Road to Success With MTSS to discuss students who might be at risk. bit.ly/3LPZp2y

If you're a first year principal, consider this amazing opportunity. I can't think of a better way to celebrate and support you as you navigate your first year. Best part of this is that it is free to you and your district. ilprincipals.org/mentoring/?utm…

So proud of my friend, LT! #HaikuTraditions has something for everyone. To all the educators out there… I think it’s an excellent book to teach poetry through, as every chapter has an introduction describing the next style of poetry. Way to go Leon, beautifully written!
