Today we had a visit from MPS District Board Member, Ms. Cassandra Brown and State Board Member, Dr. Tonya Chestnut. They were able to tour the building, visit classrooms, and take in the beautiful scenery at PES! #TheresMoreWithPES #TheresMoreWithMPS

We held a VIP Veteran's Reception for the family members of our students and some of our very own staff members who are veterans. This was a special time for us to celebrate their sacrifices for our freedom and safety! #TheresMoreWithMPS #TheresMoreWithPES

When teams work effectively, members do not point fingers or place blame. They own their successes & challenges together. They hold each other accountable & they push egos aside. We should always look inwardly to determine how we contribute or how we detract. #theresmorewithMPS

When others try to steal our joy, we must insist on being our own best source of love and encouragement. We must follow our hearts, stay true to ourselves, and remain focused on the path we desire to tread. The mission is the mission no matter the distractions in the way.

Our Math School Improvement Team met to create a school-wide Math vision for Pintlala Elementary School. The students engaged in discussion about what an effective mathematics classroom/lesson looks like and sounds like. WOW! Look at some of the ideas our students came up with.
