Year 3 and 4 at their dodgeball tournament. A beautiful afternoon where great sportsmanship was shown and fun had by all.

Year 1 went to Sutton Ecology Centre to learn how to reduce, reuse and recycle, walked around the nature reserve and learnt how to preserve nature. They learnt how paper was made and even made their own!

Sports Day Y1-6 got off to a great start this morning, but half an hour in the heavens opened! We escaped the worst of the rain, and are hopeful to reconvene this afternoon (from 1.30pm). Any parent helpers please come to the School Office at 1.10pm. Spectator parents welcome!

Maypole dancing at our summer fayre! How traditional and what a lot of good dancers we have at The Priory!

This week the whole school focused on the artwork Shipwreck in Stormy Seas and spent many lessons focused on elements of it from artwork to writing to geography to science. Some of this work is even being sent to the Tate as part of their take one picture week!

Year 5 produced some clever blank out poetry linked to our focus artwork A Ship in Stormy Seas and created beautiful background artwork. Well done!

We all enjoyed a terrific performance from a number of our talented musicians during our Music Assembly this morning. Acts included Recorders, Guitarists, Pianists and Drum Solos 🥁🎸🎹#prioryhasgottalent

Our netball team took on none other than our staff in a competitive football match! It was highly enjoyed by all the school and we were impressed by the sportsmanship and tenacity of both sides. 🏐

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go to The Prince and Princess of Wales - we thank Elizabeth II for her unwavering service and being an exemplary role model over the last 70 years. Tomorrow our collective worship will be dedicated to her life.

The Priory Book Fair is next week between 3:20-3:40pm every day. Classes will visit during the day and then parents and pupils can buy after school. The more books you buy, the more free books our school earn! #ShareYourFair
