Ministry of Health- Uganda officials met today with the CLEAN-Air(Africa) Makerere University Lung Institute team to discuss the training materials for the Community Household Air Pollution Prevention Programme (CHAP-PP) in #Uganda, supporting transition to clean cooking for health.


Promoting healthier environments in #Rwanda🇷🇼 World Health Organization (WHO) held a multi-sectoral capacity building workshop for Ministry of Health | Rwanda, Rwanda Standards Board Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority, UN Rwanda & others on the World Health Organization (WHO) BAR-HAP tool to assess interventions for cleaner cooking and reduce household air pollution.


The CLEAN-Air(Africa) Makerere University Lung Institute team welcomes its new research assistants who will be collecting household energy-related #burns data in hospital settings in #Uganda, covering the Kiruddu National Referral Hospital and the Jinja Regional Referral Hospital
