This is why the “no enemies to the right of me” stuff cannot work. There are enemies there and we cannot be silent. This stuff is festering and needs to be excised from the right.

New: San Franciscans were aghast by Marc Benioff’s hard tight turn. Turns out his company, Salesforce, is seeking new contracts with ICE to help it triple its ranks under the Trump administration. nytimes.com/2025/10/16/us/…

He first threatened sanctions on Jan 19 if Russia didn’t cease fire. He has threatened to impose them many times since then. It is now Oct 17. He has done nothing.

On NPR, Elliot Williams says Bolton’s indictment looks more “serious” than others. But “two things can be true”—that prosecutors framed a damning indictment, and that Trump “injected himself impermissibly.” At the WSJ, the editorial board has no doubt why Bolton was targeted.

Q: In 2018, Trump imposed 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum. Two years later, there were 1,000 more steel workers and 75,000 fewer manufacturing workers in the sectors dependent on steel PETER NAVARRO: I dispute those facts Q: That's a Ball State study NAVARRO: I'm not sure

C'mon Ge Bai!! The MLR arg is absurd. I have my policy course go thru this in an exercise & they quickly realize that on their own. I think the MLR is unneeded & could inhi8bit market entry, but the idea that it's inflationary is dumb, both on theory & empirically.

This sort of commentary--not just Speaker Mike Johnson but Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, others--is pathetic and un-American, denouncing political protest as inherently violent. Trump's MAGA agenda is tanking because it isn't working and is anti-liberty, not because non-violent protests.

Chrisley: Lipscomb University receives federal funding. Linda McMahon needs to look into exactly what they are teaching. Because they are having their staff members read books on how to be an antiracist and how white supremacy still exists.

Some people are honored to help children learn, or help the sick heal, or help the dispossessed fight for justice. Others are honored to have played a small role in giving lying criminals a chance to prey on society again, so long as they are Republicans.

It's insane that a Republican Member of the United States Senate who has done literally nothing but normalize Trump's lawlessness is now befuddled and confused by it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger: "We're talking here about saving democracy." He suggested a "Save the Democracy Act" with three main elements: Make Election Day a holiday. Have independent redistricting commissions in each state. Voter ID.

Arnold Schwarzenegger: I'm a traditional Republican… like Lincoln who ended slavery…The party has changed. That doesn't mean we have to change. We have to fight to get the party back.

Per Churchill's quip abt Democracy, Capitalism is the worst economic system, except for all the others that've been tried. But just like Democracy, capitalism IRL runs a broad spectrum of how well it effectively & equitably serves the public. Work.To.Improve.It!

I hope that most Americans see this type of rhetoric by high lvl MAGA/GOP/WH leaders for what it is: Evil propaganda that strikes at the heart of American ideals & threatens our future. All patriots must call out this craven abuse of power.

I agree completely w/ Mike Lee, no decent person should mock an elderly person falling, but that is just one of thousands of things Mike Lee has done showing that he is a disgrace to himself, his family & to the great people of Utah & the LDS church.
