The Hazen Education Prize—honoring outstanding teaching in #histSTM—goes to Alex Wellerstein for his online explorations of nuclear & #ColdWar history, including his blog (blog.nuclearsecrecy.com) & #NUKEMAP. #HSS22
The Rainger Prize, awarded by History of Science's Earth & Environment Forum, goes to Claire Isabel Webb, whose article "Gaze-Scaling: Planets as Islands in Exobiologists' Imaginaries" examines the use of the "island lab" metaphor in early exobiology research. #HSS22 tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.108…

So fortunate to be an editor Bulletin of the History of Medicine with these two. Both are such generous and exciting scholars. Great session with Harvard’s History of Medicine Working Group. We will be back at it at the AAHM in May! Dr. Alisha Rankin Jeremy Greene
