So Scholastic has a No Diversity Option and Librarians have to Opt In to get diverse books now. Talk to me, folks. Other Options for Book Fairs? Happy to retweet.

In Defense of Teaching Black Studies Join Kimberlé Crenshaw and Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor for a discussion about why the assault on Black knowledge and books is a serious threat to democracy. Tuesday, November 7th at SchomburgCenter RSVP to attend: eventbrite.com/e/in-defense-o…

Stunned that Scholastic Book Fairs is self-censoring the books in its “Share Every Story, Celebrate Every Voice,” which are predominantly by queer, disabled, & Black & brown authors. This is not sharing our stories--it's treating them as separate but equal.

Desde mi niñez, I have dreamed of being an author, of writing a book, close to my heart. My dream is coming true. My co-authored book is officially entering the world! College of Education
