The dollar continues to plunge (new 3 year lows today), and gold higher, as we inch closer and closer to debt default - while Fed Chairman Powell continues to sit on his hands on interest rate cuts.

In foreign policy & trade news, this is an interesting fact mixed with opinion piece: thefederalist.com/2025/06/30/how… Unfortunately, world politics affects our #usagriculture We actually cover it in our commentary - not because we want to, but because it's reality.

Corn is up 20c wheat 30c & soybeans 35c in the past 3 trading days due to rumors of a Chinese trade deal about to be announced. This following a trade deal w/ Vietnam announced Wed, opening Vietnam markets to US goods & imposing 20% tariffs on Vietnam goods coming to the US.

Optimism may come from the Indonesian trade deal, indicating China could also make a deal soon. That seems to be supporting #soybean prices the most as we've recovered to a resistance area in #corn & soybeans, while #wheat still is struggling to get out of harvest pressure

While at least #corn and #soybeans are growing bigger & bigger, we need some demand. The US & China are negotiating trade terms, with today the 2nd day of negotiations. Trump & Xi may be meeting soon, hopefully to announce a trade deal (but we aren't holding our breath yet)
