Brent Pourciau’s pitchers don’t use their legs to accelerate the baseball so his improper use of both legs is irrelevant I suppose. I posted last eeek a video demonstrating that pitchers get nothing from a high leg lift. This week Brent tells us the same thing. Aren’t PhDs

The hips The hips the hips All the gurus love the hips Here we see Josh Walker’s glove foot has landed. His glove foot is stopping the forward movement of his CoM Go try rotating your hips when your COM has stopped moving forward. That’s why pitchers bend at the waist.

“I also outline how my perspectives have changed over the years on a few different inseason training considerations.” Poor Waldo Beede. They never listen

Poor Brent Pourciau. He and so many other gurus bastardize when they should plagiarize. What I call pitching leg Flyout is a problem. Quite frankly often a problem with those pitchers that go ‘Partial Marshall’ Unfortunately the best remedy for pitching leg Flyout is turning

Chris O’Leary conveniently reworks Dr Marshall’s material. Note that this is a still photo but Mr Ryan’s top half is almost exactly as Dr Marshall recommends. Note that his pitching hand palm faces third base. His elbow angle is 130° such that the baseball is at my Ready

I’ve written about the Medicine Ball Effect. I’ve written about how training, to be effective, has to be very very specific. Now all we have to do is wait for Fried to get fried and Eric should get his gold star from Ahmad. Well earned. What a season!

Spoken by the guy who openly calls for abusing children because he has larger ‘priorities’ And his followers don’t leave him…in disgust. There’s no bigger priority than protecting children.

Given the dads of #BBTrumpland one issue gurus don’t want to understand is training regression. I don’t know if science schools teach it anymore but if you want athletes to improve you have to put them in regression where performance suffers. Good luck with the dads.

I talked about pitching leg Flyout yesterday. Besides reducing velocity it’s a wee bit difficult fielding batted balls. Quite a plantation Earvin Magic Johnson is overseeing. The former Dodger CYA winner had his pitchers have both feet firmly on the ground before pitched baseballs

It is the improper position of the forearm in relation to the upper arm that ruptures Ulnar Collateral Ligaments. What Brent knows as layback and what I call Reverse Pitching Forearm Bounce ruptures Ulnar Collateral Ligaments. Pitchers have to get into my Maximum Forearm

Fan Chen-Jun is 12 chronological years old. Let’s be fanciful and say he’s an equated maturer. The Triceps Brachii muscle attaches to the Olecranon Process on the proximal end of the ulna bone. The growth plate of the Olecranon Process appears at 11 yo and does not close until

Who never throws BP? Former MLB pitchers. Why? Because they listen to gurus who refuse to accept science and modernity. Their arms are shot. The dads of #BBTrumpland have a tough choice. Al Jaeger or a CYA winning PhD

“I would never have an athlete do a squat or a deadlift.” The dads of #BBTrumpland have a clear choice. Easy win for Eric. The boys never had a chance.

Velocity gets you on the mound. Spin keeps you on the mound. It’s not velocity that gets guys out. It’s the changes in velocity.
