Great night last night. LADY EAGLES finished 5th overall. Janie Stevenson (1st) and Daniella Espinosa (2nd) both quality for the THSWP state meet. Over all 4 medalist and 10 new school records and 2 new regional records! #EagleStrong

Janie Stevenson finished her Prosper Powerlifting career tied for 1st and finished 3rd on tiebreakers. She also won best bench lightweight division with a state record of 295 lbs. Dani Espinosa finished 13th and will be back for another year! Great season, ladies! #EagleStrong

Congrats to Janie Stevenson for being named a Student Athlete of the Month at THE Prosper High School.

I would like some explanation on why the term for Regional directors was changed from 2 to 4 years, with no notice to the paying members of the THSPA.  This was done in a non-voting year and it was not mentioned last year that the 2 year term was going to be changed. THSPA

This is very back-handed and very deceitful by the regional directors and the executive board, in my opinion to keep the men in charge, in charge longer, thus keeping the good ole boy system in place.  In other words, Congress just gave themselves another raise. THSPA
