How do you get a PCB into space? Still not 100% sure it's going to work out, but I've been working on just that, and documenting along the way. A talk about the satellite on which we'll get a ride and the tech behind that + a preview of my board/code youtube.com/watch?v=SRuBDM…

Been heads-down for a bit trying to get an experiment to... SPACE! A lot of details to juggle in a short time, but I have been documenting along the way. Check out the process how it's coming along: youtube.com/watch?v=I-tqtE…

Speaking of SPACE... the video I just put out has a bit of lag, but you can get the absolute latest news in a few hours on this livestream. See you there!

In the bad old days, this thing used to crash every 20 minutes but I stuck with @[email protected] and they stuck with building great software, and works great and I love it. Baking the next video in the "spASICs" series, and its a doozy... what an adventure!

The gritty details of getting from PCB to functional system ready for orbit! Almost boils down to a comedy of errors but when the crunch is crunching and the timer's ticking you gain a few new scars that make you better for next time. ASIC in space! youtu.be/ToPX98kjwP8

Simple web uploader for firmware on WCH CH32. Originally made by AlexanderMandera. Adapted by me for my main board project, I added my own web solution and made it use USBHS. Link to Alex version👇🏻

Been meaning to learn hardware design with Verilog or TL-Verilog? No better way than through a SPACE BATTLE (probably), and no better time than now thanks to this ASIC design showdown: redwoodeda.com/showdown-info

These boards really are "treasure troves of microelectronic wonders". If you weren't part of the ASIC tapeout, this is a chance to get one. A ton of cool projects on each (I think my favorite is still TT06, the 1st to have analog, including my first mixed-signal). See

FabricFox: Little FPGA board that's a drop-in replacement for the ASIC on Tiny Tapeout TT06+ demo boards. It'll be CRAM configured by the RP2 on the DB, so it's uber simple. fish : does this save me from the culling?
