So reading some 🚨genuine🚨 Aristotle courtesy of his well-known 𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑝𝑖𝑒𝑐𝑒 (1684). This remedy sounds particularly fun: "Hold under her Nose Partridge Feathers, Hair, and Old Shoes burnt, and all other stinking things: for evil Odours are an Enemy to Nature..."
