The first verdict since the Nov 28 arrests: Daniel Mumladze & Guram Khutashvili were sentenced to 3 years for damaging 112 cameras. Arrested Dec 4, they admitted guilt & pledged to pay 12,100 GEL (~$4,400) in damages, but the court still refused to release them.

The law, which GD members claim is analogous to the one currently in force in the US targets civil society and media. The law requires all individuals and legal entities receiving funding from abroad to register as agents; otherwise, it provides for criminal liability.
