This Thursday the Mayor will be making her decision about bus services in West Yorkshire. I have had to rely on bus services I know how important it is to have reliable buses linking our communities. From speaking with residents I know how important it is to their daily lives.

BREAKING: I’ve just announced my decision to bring West Yorkshire's buses back under public control! When I was elected in 2021, I pledged to improve your bus services – and this is a huge step forward to creating the bus service that you deserve.

Great to see these results from the extra funding that myself and other councillors from the Outer West agreed for additional patrols. Residents right across the area bring up concerns about road safety, and this extra funding helps ensure the police are able to prioritise it.
