Year 1 are having a fabulous time at Abbey House Museum; they are learning all about old toys as part of their history topic Leeds Museums & Galleries

Year 2 are having a brilliant day at Armley Mills being Victorian children who have strict teachers and work in the mill Leeds Museums & Galleries #History

Year 3 and 6 had a fantastic trip earlier this week to Murton Park as part of our history focus week

Year 6 have arrived and settled in at Ingleborough for the start of their residential. They have been to the beautiful show cave this afternoon and are ready for some country dancing tonight

Our Y6 pupils smashed it in their final week at Lowtown! Amazing performance of Bugsy Malone; beating the staff and parents at rounders and a very emotional leavers assembly. You are all fabulous and are so ready for high school. We are really proud of every one of you!🙂🙌👏🤩

Y3 had a wonderful trip to Murton Park this week as part of their history focus; they learned about life during the Stone to Bronze age, defending their village from an attack; farming the land and doing tasks as the settlers would have done! #bringinglearningtolife #History

As part of their history focus; our Y2 class took a trip to Armley Mills Museum to learn about what life was like for children during the Victorian times. They dressed as Victorian school children and took part in the 'Mill Children' workshop. #bringinglearningtolife #history

Y1 visited Abbey House Museum as part of their history topic to find out 'what has changed since our grandparents were young?' They looked around the museum and had the opportunity to play with some toys from the past. They learned a lot about how things have changed over time!

We had a fantastic reading event for #WorldBookDay2024 #WBD2024! Children and their families took part in reading activities and book-themed fun. Lowtown was buzzing with little bookworms! Children and staff dressed as book characters and the PTFA provided refreshments!📚👏
