Surprise surprise! So many of us have been screaming this for years. The ill-planned Versova-Bandra Sealink will be the same. None of the planned exits at Turner Road in Bandra, Juhu Tara Road in Juhu or JP Road in Versova are roads that can absorb that much traffic.

As soon as it rains, all of this will end up on Juhu beach. I hope माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC takes timely corrective measures and stops this from happening again.

Like clockwork, the #mumbaioilspill has reared its ugly head as the strong pre-monsoon winds wash ashore tonnes of tarballs across the MMR every day. Reported from Juhu, Versova, Aksa and Kelwa beaches in the first week of May, the disaster continues unabated.

We probably don't see it, but as much as it is necessary to question the risks of ships capsizing, products like polypropylene are directly related to our materialistic modern life. It's found in packaging, textiles, automotive parts, medical devices, and various consumer goods.
