I can't say I am surprised. And, how about that nugget that the Red Sox New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs are all in alignment for a salary cap. The Cubs being on that list does not surprise me. the other two do.

This is so typical of the Cubs. Now they plan on their players not wanting to be there and $22 million messes their offseason spending. That probably means they budgeted to spend $30 million. When will they EVER act like a big market club?
