Despite it being the hottest day of the year so far, over 130 people came to see us on Saturday. Some came knowing nothing, some came with trepidation & some came with enthusiasm. All left feeling positive about the future and happy to have a free ice cream on us.

I remember so clearly the horror of the terror attacks on London 20 years ago. Today we remember the 52 people who died and all who were injured and affected, and are so grateful to the emergency services. It did not divide us and we are a stronger city than ever.

In Parliament, we marked 97 years since women won the right to vote. I’m honoured to be the 543rd woman ever elected to Parliament. We've come a long way — but the work isn’t done, and we’re not slowing down.
