On this 20th anniversary of 9/11, we remember every parent, brother, sister, friend, and colleague that was stolen from us in the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and in a field in Shanksville, PA. We must always honor their sacrifice and never forget them. #September11 #911Anniversary

On #September11, 20 years ago, the world witnessed the deadliest terrorist attacks in the history of the #US, our closest neighbour and ally. Today, we remember those who lost their lives on 9/11 and remember the courage and selflessness shown by so many in the face of tragedy.

Today we remember the almost 3,000 people, 67 of whom were British citizens, who lost their lives 20 years ago in the September 11 attacks. The UK stands with the US to honour their memories and mourn their loss.

Although 20 years have passed since the nearly 3,000 individuals were taken from us, we feel keenly, in this place and in this time, their presence among us. We will never forget them.
