Also thnx to @LucaCocchi78 Nikitas Koussis @QIMRBerghofer MNMHS_Research

Head movement reduces reliability of TMS. Not a problem for us! Bjorn Burgher demonstrates how our TMS robot from Axilum Robotics stays precisely oriented to its brain target, guided by our Localite neuronavigation system from MagVenture UK Ltd.

Advancing clinical translation in TMS is built on science like this. Congratulations Kartik Iyer and our own @LucaCocchi78 @LukeJHearne. This study shows how distributed patterns of brain activity balance local neural perturbations (e.g. TMS) to preserve cognition/behaviour.

Sincere thanks to the Rebecca Cooper Foundation and to my nominators/mentors Michael Breakspear Michael Breakspear and Fernando Calamante Fernando Calamante Details about our group, research and the fellowship: sysneuro.org qldneurostimulation.com.au cooperfoundation.org.au/testimonial/20…

Huge congratulations to Andrew Zalesky. You are an asset to our team - so lucky to have a scientist of this calibre.

New funding to study high-tech psychiatric therapies 🧠 A/Prof Andrew Zalesky has been awarded the prestigious Rebecca L Cooper Fellowship to conduct fundamental research on the human brain in health and mental illnesses 👏 unimelb.me/3vio8DS

UniMelb MDHS Looking forward to undertaking this research within UniMelb MDHS, UnimelbBME, Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre, Queensland Neurostimulation Centre World-class research and clinical facilities

Our psychiatrist Bjorn Burgher learned from the best psychiatrist-neuroscientist in Australia Michael Breakspear. Big congrats, enjoy your congress #RANZCP2022

Great work Dr Philip Mosley. Representing the team at #RANZCP2022. We need new therapies for treatment resistant OCD.

Dr ROBIN CASH Robin Cash is a rising star in brain stim Robin's TMS personalization tech is now used clinically at the QLD Neurostim Centre Queensland Neurostimulation Centre Robin will present an update on Weds May 25 at 12pm (Melbourne time) Join us! Very cool to think of Andrew Zalesky Robin Cash as engineers bringing their unique perspectives to neuroscience and then translating their ideas into the clinic. It’s a unique take on the “multi-disciplinary” team we have here!

Quick plug for our session tomorrow at #OHBM2022 organised by Laura Marzetti (she/her) on advances in personalised brain🧠⚡stimulation. I hope you can join us in person or online.

Well done Robin Cash! Next year we will present the prospective results from the clinic. Thanks to you and Andrew Zalesky the clinic has been a big success in its first 6 months.

Fantastic new work in the OCD space by @LucaCocchi78 and Michael Breakspear
