We have reached the halfway point with 47 patients consented. Now we need to get these patients randomised as our total is 26. Congrats to University Hospital Birmingham who have randomised 9. Please let us know if patients become ineligible for randomisation.

Congratulations to Mr Bagul and his team who have so far randomised 12/15. Remember there is still the chance to win ÂŁ25 by randomising the most patients before the end of Feb. A few sites on 1 so everyone still has a chance

We understand that recruitment to SUBSoNIC will be incredibly difficult over the next few months. However for all patients currently in the study we ask that every attempt is made to complete the follow ups for safety reasons as these patients are on a protocol. Stay safe
