As someone who remembers tha pain of the ABC loan and buckets outside the ground a huge thank you from me to The Board for your continued financial support. Whilst not every decision is perfect we know you have our back financially and the best interests of the club at heart.

We got beat 6 v 0 in a pre season friendly wearing a pink kit. Not much else to say really.

Watched some of the fans forum last night. I thought Nourry spoke well and has certainly gone up in my estimations. Very clever man for someone so young and good to see the club now has a solid structure and plan. Lots of bumps still ahead but the ship is slowly turning.

I know it was a Pre Season game but we created the square root of fuck all. We look very light weight and a long way short of being battle hardened for a Championship winter slog. Our injuries are already a concern and we haven’t even kicked a ball yet.

Would of been happy with a point before the start but after a pretty decent first half we managed to throw away a great opportunity to win the game with a disjointed second half display. Mbenge certainly caught my eye and looks a decent signing.

Did the Ashes tour down under in 1994/95 and it’s always been on my bucket list to go back. Back then there was no internet or mobile phones but I still have the wonderful memories lodged in my brain. Amazing country and people.
