Because of #SciPy2022 sprints, I started on github.com/matplotlib/mat… (blitting in Slider widgets) And then on the flight back, I also managed to put in: github.com/matplotlib/mat… (blitting in all *Button widgets)

Oh, Bell Mobility has an option to block data access. BUT, it can only be applied to lines that already have a data plan. So if you accidentally leave data on, you'll only find out that you were charged Pay-per-use rates ($130/GB!) when you get your bill or the $50 CRTC warning.

With lots and lots of `# if 0`, I have a compiling-and-running Pidgin Instant Messenger on GTK 4. Much is broken though (like several menus). Let's see if we can get this committed in Gary Kramlich's stream tomorrow.

After a ton of work most of it from Elliott Sales de Andrade we have the Pidgin 3 development tree running in GTK4!! There's still a ton of work to do to yet, but after 6+ months of work, it compiles and runs!!

Tagging Matplotlib release candidates on a Friday

After 207 days, 139 review (pull) requests over 3 repositories. Pidgin 3 (still in development) is officially a GTK and friends 4 application! Congratulations to the team and everyone involved on this huge milestone!

Last week, Pidgin Instant Messenger made it to GTK and friends 4. Now it's time to refresh the preference pages (some parts still a bit WIP.)

While I don't love how it works, managed to get the Transparency plugin working again in Pidgin Instant Messenger 3 against GTK and friends 4.
