Stop #2 on the IQUA QRA field trip is in County Louth is Annagassan. An excellent description and talk of the Viking settlement and the glacial terrain in the area.

QRA After a brief stop at one of County Louth’s Blue Flag Beaches at Port Beach, we continued on to our next stop of Clogherhead. This chat featured a talk on the exposed bedrock, which were impacted by multiple movements of glacial activity.

Earlier this year I was asked to be involved in an interview about my research, lakes sediments, and climate change. A little different to my every day work but it was definitely fun doing this... you can watch the video here: youtube.com/watch?v=39i-iO… 📹[email protected]
