Fewer short QBs get opportunities because of outdated beliefs that quarterbacks need to be tall. That thinking starts as early as middle school and keeps many from ever getting a real shot to develop.
I'd argue that. I think you could ask most quarterbacks and with fairly high level of certainty they could tell you the coverage, leverage of defenders and so much more.

If you are a backup Quarterback you NEVER take reps with the 1's and if something happens you are asked to perform at a high level. In a game that actually matters.
