Great to see our Department of Environment and Geography SEI Research #peatland paper out as OA! Hopefully an interesting read - it certainly will stimulate discussions. Nitty-gritty peat core stuff on C accumulation in relation to charcoal from burning on grouse moors. doi.org/10.1002/geo2.63

Thanks to RStudio tutorials I made my first shiny app quinnasena.shinyapps.io/r_logistic/ (early release maybe a few typos). An experiment to see if extendable to more complicated models running in shiny. Might use it for tutoring pop growth class next semester now. #ecology #science

Made a #Shiny app RStudio of population growth to give students to accompany my first lecture on population modelling. Slides made in #xaringan. Code available, love to know if anyone re-purposes it. App: quinnasena.shinyapps.io/growth_app/ Code: github.com/QuinnAsena/gro… #R #rstats #Rshiny

Delighted that our paper 'Making #Brexit Work for the Environment and Livelihoods: Delivering a Stakeholder Informed Vision for #Agriculture and #Fisheries' was accepted in People and Nature today! It's been a long road to publication, but hopefully it will help inform policy development
