"When a man's partner is killed, you're supposed to do something about it. It doesn't matter what you thought of him. You're supposed to do something about it..." The Maltese Falcon. What makes these old noir movies great is that the protagonists, however flawed, had a code.

“The Maltese Falcon” is fantastic film-noir movie. Great story, great performances. It’s never been remade because it’s impossible to improve. Even the soulless schmucks in Hollywood can see it.

Universities too. Saw that in my MBA program. Watched the hiring and selection process of students at UF. It's only gotten worse.

If you're not crunching on pizzas in Napoli, you are missing the boat, Terroni. You hide too much, Terroni. Why the hell don't you ever say anything? Post more. You need to be fighting it out in the mosh pit with the rest of us, bright one.

"Dawn" (2014). Very good so far. Moody, understated Australian psychological thriller about a woman on the run for mysterious reasons. Love these dark little dramas.

I've been a movie warrior for a long time, and Tubi has been a gold mine in recent years. All kinds of indie, foreign, gritty movies there. And yes, Australian movies are fantastic. Raw, understated, intelligent.
