Stem cells can be used to produce cultured meat for human consumption. This study shows that tissues from FAP cells mimics beef fat in terms of taste. Samples were coated with gold on a SC7620 by Quorum Technologies before imaging in a JSM-IT200 from JEOL. rdcu.be/cIBea

Investigating the causes of infertility in hybrid Assassin Bugs, SEM analysis identified possible abnormalities in the hybrid eggshell. Samples were coated with 30nm gold using a Q150 T ES sputter coater, with a rotary planetary stage, by Quorum Technologies. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Uni of Leeds, UK, and NTU, Pakistan, looked at fiber damage in textiles after repeated washing cycles. SEM images were taken in a JSM-6610 before and after washing cycles. The specimens were sputter-coated with gold in a Q150RS from Quorum Technologies. journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.117…
