40 days as a head already. Wow. Main things I’ve learned: do not put too much in your diary. Accept that supporting staff and dealing with parents IS work. Expect to deal with the unexpected. Don’t expect a lot of praise 😂 All that said, I’ve loved it!

Oh dear lordy loos everyone is knackered. My class is knackered, my own kids are knackered. I'm knackered. Someone please tell me how we've got three more days of it.

Today has been HARD. I travelled to Tenerife alone for 6 hours, left with my thoughts and feelings of sadness. I’ve been surrounded by people constantly over the last 10 days so it was a massive shock today to not have someone to rant to. Looking forward to seeing my mum soon❤️
