Temple College Dental Hygiene students delivered an educational presentation to 3rd grade classrooms yesterday, focusing on brushing, flossing, and healthy-teeth vs cavity-causing foods! 🦷 🪥

Look What We’re Up To This Week at Raye Allen! Our amazing students have been busy learning, creating, and growing. From hands-on activities, field trips learning about Italy, to exciting lessons, we’re so proud of the hard work and smiles filling our classrooms each day. 💡🌟

We surprised some of our Eagles by asking staff to submit names of students with reasons to celebrate. 🦅💙💚 Way to go, Eagles!

4th graders in Ms. Nettleton’s pitched their inventions today! They came up with a design, determined why it was needed, made slogans, and then practiced their advertisements by presenting to their classmates. Great job! 💙💚

Our kindergarteners had a slice of heaven today exploring their five senses on the farm! 🎃🐑🎶 From discovering pumpkins, bouncing high on the jumping balloon, petting sweet animals, and listening to all the sounds of nature, it was a day full of wonder, giggles, and learning.

The Cup Stacking Tournament was a huge success! Speed, focus, and lots of fun! 🥇❤️

Today we surprised students who were recognized by teachers for working hard, even when the work is hard. Grit & determination are strong character traits that will serve you well, Eagles! We are proud of you! Eagles RISE! 🦅

Families, this award is for YOU! And, because our attendance went up from this time last year, the kids get a surprise treat very soon! This is something that can happen every 6 weeks for our students. When they are at school, they’re learning so much. 💙💚🦅

Flavor meets literature! 4th graders sampled Ropa Vieja after reading Letters from Heaven and they gave it rave reviews! 😋📖

Dr. Piper’s class hosted a breakfast for those who keep us safe. We loved getting to start their day off with a hearty breakfast and handwritten cards to show how much we appreciate all that they do. Eagles love our SRO, our crossing guard, and Temple PD! 🦅

3rd grade students learned about the tradition of homecoming and created their own homecoming mums and garters during connection before content!

Surprise recognitions for our students who work hard even when the work is hard. We value perseverance and grit…qualities that will take them far in life. We are so proud of our Eagles and love getting to announce their names over the loudspeaker.

5th grade students in Ms. Slaughter’s class earned a movie party for meeting their goals on an Exact Path challenge. This is just one of many examples of how they pour into kids and the impact it has on their success. We love our Eagle students! 💙💚🦅

First graders were provided an opportunity to experience voting in Ms. Starkey’s class today. They loving the voting booth experience and letting their voice be heard. ❤️💙🇺🇸

This week the RAES GT students took part in a STEM Challenge to "hatch" an escape plan for their Thanksgiving turkeys. After designing and constructing their escape plan, 1st and 2nd graders challenged each other in a race to see whose turkey could escape the quickest.

Our sweet third and fourth graders provided a beautiful Veteran’s Day tribute at their concert this past week. They sounded amazing! ❤️💙
