A Mobile Air Operations Team from #RAFBenson visited 230 Squadron in Brunei for 3 weeks in January. The visit was to inspect all landing sites used by 230 Sqn to ensure they remain safe for the Puma to use. #acrossallboundaries

Today marks the 80th anniversary of the Great Escape. On the 24 March 1944, a mass escape of 76 Allied Soldiers from Stalag Luft III, a Prisoner of War camp in Poland, was set into motion and remains one of history’s most famous prison breaks.

Friday 4th July over 550 people attended a dinner; the largest ever gathering of past and present Puma Force aircrew, groundcrew and support staff. With original airframes flying to the end, Puma can claim to be the longest-serving operational aircraft in the RAF’s history!
