We’re back open today after the Festive break. 1000-1500hrs Sat & Sun Why not lift those January blues, with a visit to our globally unique Centre and enjoy a lovely warming bean-to-cup coffee and cake, in our Airmen’s Rest Cafe.

An honour and a privilege today to attend a Remembrance Service in honour of Lancaster PA269 and the Polish Airmen of 300 Squadron which crashed 79 years ago at All Saints C of E Primary School Wigston Magna Leics on behalf of RAF Ingham with Steve from the International Bomber Command Centre.

Wonderful to meet so many of the Polish Community in Hammersmith! 🇵🇱   Founded in 1967, The Polish Social and Cultural Association (@POSKLondon) is the largest Polish centre in Europe. Open to all nationalities, the centre provides a community space to celebrate and promote

With the frosts gone, it was a great opportunity for our Polish friends to join our regular volunteers in preparing the ground for our new Remembrance Garden. A great effort by all, in some poor conditions. And as is customary, our Polish friends ended the day with BBQ.

Thanks to Karol and the wonderful team of volunteers RAF Ingham the Memorial Garden Project got off to a flying start yesterday. The Banter, Friendship and coffee from the "Airman's Mess" was very welcome. To find out more RAF Ingham is open weekends 10-3.

At Lincolnshire & Rutland Tourism Excellence Awards, we were finalist in 'New Tourism Business of Year' and Geoff Burton was a finalist in 'Outstanding Contribution Award'. Although we weren’t winners of categories, we are very proud to be recognised within the tourism industry.

RAF Ingham today I was reminded about the 1,426 Incredible Polish Women who served in the RAF and PAF. Helen Paszkiewicz was the first Polish Woman to become a WAAF on 31st October 1941. To find out more The Polish Bomber Squadrons Centre is open tomorrow 10-3.

#OTD last year we opened the Polish Bomber Squadrons Centre - RAF Ingham. In 2010, two Englishmen dreamt of creating a lasting Museum to remember the men & women of the Polish Bomber Squadrons. 17 Apr 24, 104 y/o John Franklin, W/Op 304 Sqn, honoured us by cutting the ribbon.🇵🇱

Today I handed-over the entire artefacts Collection, (my final task as a Curator and Trustee) Its been my proudest honour to have spent 15 memorable years building RAF Ingham And I have learnt so much about the history and sacrifices of the Polish Bomber Squadrons Pozegnanie
