Royal Air Force Omen formation fly past ‘St Cwyfan, Church in the sea’ on Anglesey as they approach RAF Valley. The retirement flight for the C-130 Hercules after 57 years of service with the type. A sight and sound that I will miss.

Come ☔ or ❄️, RAF aircraft and their crews continue to operate. This week, with the snowy backdrop of the Eryri National Park, a pair of Hawk aircraft from IV Squadron (RAF Valley) and Air Mobility Force’s Atlas, flying as ‘DREADNAUGHT44’, flew the iconic Mach Loop.
