Meet our committee member, postdoc Dr. Ellie Bennett. Ellie is part of the project 'Embodied Emotions: Ancient Mesopotamia and Today', exploring with assyriologists and neuroscientists how emotions were experienced in the body in Akkadian, English, and Finnish texts.

Meet one of the people making this year's RAI a reality: Our committee member Jonathan Valk. He is an University Researcher working on the intersection between the Akkadian and Aramaic traditions.

Meet Joanna Töyräänvuori, University Researcher (ANEE Helsinki), and Docent in Ancient Near Eastern Studies (University of Helsinki) and in Cultural History (Turun yliopisto - University of Turku), specializing in Ugarit Studies. Joanna will be chairing a workshop on ancient identities in the upcoming RAI.
