Last week, We had our first CPO club last week @raisesherpas with Isabel Bénard - CPO miral. 👇Here's a small thread about a few key learnings I personally made - knowing I am not a product guy RaiseLab Max Lavoine Anne-Sophie Gervais Louise Colin

1/ Start building your Product Culture early. It does not mean spending a lot of time on it, it simply means you have to formalise it soon enough so that people can personify the product.

2/ Find internal allies Treat business teams like internal clients so they become product ambassadors

3/ Responsible vs accountable Make no mistake -> business/sales team are accountable but PM, tech and designers are reponsible. Product is not supposed to serve sales team

4/ Squad the hell out of it Even if your organisation is a large one, keep squading, it can start with CPO and VP Engineering, and each pillar of the project can be distributed into sub squads. Pretty simple

5/ Product Culture must join Company Culture Silos will appear as long as you keep growing, but that’s why the Leadership Team and Management is about : keep bridging the two so it converges

7/ 6+1 = 7 Don’t forget that if we had another +1 there is a high probability that it goes up to 8 😲
