And so the cat escapes the bag! So excited to be working with Rodge Glass on Joshua in the Sky, which will be published late summer 2024. This one is special.

Seeing Joshua's name in print makes me so happy. This book is an autobiography & biography in one, myself & my nephew linked by our shared pasts & rare blood condition. Thanks good folk Taproot Press & esp to Jenny Brown Agency who has kept believing in me, for 20yrs. More soon ↘️

Happy Birthday to my dad who is 80 today. He and my mum met in Elgin Library in 1959 and this is the mobile library dad drove round the villages (with a friend pictured standing beside it). He has some great stories. Save Our Libraries

Don't tell me the ending! I'm reading this book just now, a beautifully written story which draws on complex legacies & our pasts shape our present. Congratulations to Eleanor J Thom & to the good folks Taproot Press on #ConnectiveTissue. A decade well spent...

Connective Tissue from Taproot Press is the novel based on the life of my grandmother, a working-class Jewish single mother who came to Scotland from Berlin. It's taken a decade in archives in Germany and the UK, drawing on collections from all over the world. 1/2

Not every review can be glowing, and we don't always agree with what's written. What we do appreciate is a considered reading, and that's what this is. Thanks Scotsman Arts for this review of #ConnectiveTissue Eleanor J Thom Do you have your copy yet? scotsman.com/arts-and-cultu…

Looking forward to 2024 with the good folks at Taproot Press. Exciting to have a publication date for my memoir JOSHUA IN THE SKY 💕

It’s funny sometimes where this old writing life can take a gal. Here’s “Poem of the Week” in The Scotsman, ahead of my performance on Wednesday at Holyrood’s cross-party St Andrew’s Day celebration. #poetry #standrewsday #stirlingmakar

From lines submitted, we've made a Scottish People's Address to World Leaders. Fellow poet Niall Campbell joined me for an inaugural reading at Push The Boat Out. The poem will be launched on Friday, St Andrew's Day.
