It's already #ShowYourStripes day in many places like New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Papua New Guinea. All these countries are warming rapidly. Visit ShowYourStripes.info to find your warming stripes and start a climate conversation online or with friends and family.

While facing drastic cuts, and losing most of their production staff, apparently Climate dot gov isn't quite dead yet. Or is this just a faint echo? A tweet that could have been scheduled weeks ago. Either way, #ShowYourStripes while you still can.

This is what pathological EV hatred looks like. The USPS ordered 66,000 electric delivery vehicles. A provision of the proposed budget bill would cancel the rest of that order AND force the sale (at a large loss) of 7,000 vehicles already delivered. washingtonpost.com/business/2025/…

Every country is warming. Every country is experiencing more extreme weather events because of climate change, mainly caused by burning fossil fuels. Time to #ShowYourStripes and start climate conversations to prompt actions to reduce emissions. ShowYourStripes.info

The argument that urban heat islands are biasing temperature records continually comes up. There is a long history of papers showing it's effect minimal globally (and the world is 70% oceans with no urbanization). My colleague Dr. Robert Rohde has a neat updated analysis for global land:

A great visual reminder that much of the infrastructure that was designed for the climate of the past is not ready for the effects of climate change.
